“Chinese drywall” refers to a home contamination issue involving drywall manufactured in China. Concerns about contaminated drywall have surfaced in recent years and typically relates to newer construction, and/or a home that has been renovated or flooded. There is documented evidence of contaminated drywall entering the U.S. since 2001, however most of the concerns in our area are from late 2005 through 2009. Visual inspections and/or physical sampling and laboratory analysis are available depending on your inspection needs. All samples are sent to an AIHA LAP accredited laboratory for analysis.
