What is a Home Inspection?
A Colonial Residential Inspection is a visual, non-destructive examination of the condition of a home performed by a professional with the latest industry training and certifications. Our inspector prepares and delivers an extensive written report of all findings, empowering our clients to make informed decisions about their pending real estate transaction.
We will use our extensive knowledge and experience to conduct a thorough examination of the home to include:
– Foundation – Structure
– Exterior – Grounds
– Roof/Roof Components – HVAC
– Electrical system – Plumbing system
– Attic – Crawlspace
– Windows/Doors – Porches/Patios/Decks
– Built-in Appliances – Garage/Carport
and more…….
A foundation level survey is included with all home inspections.
After a thorough examination of the property has been performed, a verbal summary of the inspection is given at the inspection site. A professional narrative style report including photos relating to hundreds of inspected items will be delivered to you the following day. And even after the report has been delivered, we are always available to answer any questions that you may have.
We realize your time is valuable. For your convenience, we can also arrange for other inspections that you may need for the same time as your home inspection: wood destroying insects, video pipe, stucco, etc. Of course these inspections are performed by only licensed and/or certified inspectors in their respective fields.
